Hello. That is a word for greeting people. It is useful for situations like this one where I am greeting you, the reader. There are other greeting words out there, but I chose this one. Hello. And now, on to the mash-up.

Bards are awesome. They’re jacks-of-all-trades. They can fight, they can cast spells, they can heal…and they do it by singing songs (or otherwise performing). My main character in DDO is a bard which isn’t a great class for soloing, but I couldn’t help myself. If I were to play in a D&D campaign tomorrow, I’d play a bard. Again, in tying in with my love of Robin Hood lore, bards make me think of Alan-a-Dale. He’s a secondary character in the legends, but one of my favorites.

Nektara was the easy fit to play the bard. In her early days she was always carrying a flute with her. It was her gimmick. With her musical talent, I’m sure she’d be a great bard. I was originally going to show her actually playing the flute, but I just couldn’t get the pose to look right. This is a more static pose, but it works find. Colouring Nektara’s hair is always fun, I don’t quite know why.

Bard

That’s it for this week and also for the Dungeons & Dragons set of mash-ups! Next week a whole new theme begins. Find out what it is, next Wednesday!
