It’s Wednesday and I’m typing up this week’s mash-up installment! Let’s see if I actually remember to click Publish when I’m done (seriously, I seem to have a problem with this).
Rogues are cool, but I don’t think I’ve ever played one. I’m not usually the stealthy type so playing a rogue isn’t a natural fit for me. In DDO, rogues are one of the few characters classes you cannot have as basic hirelings yet they can make such a difference. They’re the only ones who can really unlock doors or disarm traps and many quests are much more difficult if you can do neither of these things. That’s why I chose to give my Bard character a couple of levels of Rogue just so she’d have a chance when she was soloing quests (which is ALL the time since I don’t play in groups).
So of course Sass is the group’s rogue. This is probably my second favorite piece for this set (Barnaby as the barbarian is still top of the list).
That’s all for this week. The set is winding down. Just two more D&D classes to go! Find out who’s next, next Wednesday!
