Hey hey! Welcome back to the Wednesday Mash-up! Let’s have some fun with it huh?
Poe Dameron is a pilot in the Resistance and BB-8’s owner. At the beginning of the movie, before getting captured by Kylo Ren he entrusts vital information to his droid in hopes that it will find its way back to Resistance hands. Yes, that is a lot like the start to A New Hope and there are more call backs throughout, but it tells its own story as well.
Here’s Red Rich as Poe. It’s a nice update of the classic X-Wing pilot uniform. Doesn’t he look dashing? As always, you can click on the picture to see a close-up.
