From the journal of Ardebast Raconteur:
Sass is a cat. I first met her when she was still a kitten. She stole my coin purse, or as she put it, “I was relieving you of something you weren’t aware you’d misplaced yet.” By the way, calling her a thief is a surefire way to get slugged. She prefers calling herself a rogue or an independent contractor.
Sass was born and raised in Northend, which explains her rather liberal views on what is and isn’t legal. This is not to say she has no morality. She adheres to a personal code of right and wrong. For example, if she can help it, she prefers not to steal – sorry, “borrow with little intention of returning” – from those that are worse off than she is.
Sass is quite the looker and she knows it. She’s not above using her charms to get her way. Mind you, her little tricks don’t work with me as I still think of her as the young kitten I first met.
I’ve lost track of Sass over the last few years. The last I heard she had moved from Northend to Sixtus. Remind me to keep an eye on my coin purse the next time I’m in the capital.
Carja’s Notes:
Sass is the second Animus character created. She first appears in the short story, “The Meeting of Sass and Mouser” (coming sooner). She also appears with the Big Oonch in “The Case of the Scroll” (coming later), which actually happens before the events of the “The Meeting of Sass and Mouser.”
Animus Funnies Notes:
As Sass was the second character created for Age of Animus, she’s the second character to appear in Animus Funnies. Don’t call her a thief.
