From the journal of Ardebast Raconteur:
Me? I’m just an old dog from Seton who aspired to be one of the finest storytellers in all of Pelaria. You’d have to ask my audiences whether I have achieved my goal.
I do not think I am presuming too much when I say that I have probably traveled Pelaria more than any fur alive. And yet for every road traveled, there’s always a new one waiting to be explored. I do not presume to be capable of discovering all of Pelaria’s secrets, but I will certainly give it my best try until the day that I die.
Stories are currency to me. Rare are the times that I will turn away a fur with a tale to tell and I’m always ready to repay in kind. Just forgive me if I become long-winded.

Ardebast Raconteur. What a name! Pompous with a flair for the dramatic.
I’m always ready to recycle my favorite ideas from one project to the next if I can find a good fit. Ardebast was to be the narrator for another storytelling project of mine that didn’t pan out. I spent all this time trying to create this world and only came up with one finished story that wasn’t even all that good. I really liked the Ardebast character though so it was an easy decision to have him serve as a guide to people visiting the site and wanting to know more about the world of Pelaria.
Two years later, I finally came up with an idea to feature him in the Funnies and so he gets his own entry.As bombastic and long-winded as he can be, I just can’t imagine that he’d be very interested in talking about just himself for very long, which is why his entry isn’t very long. The idea is that you get to know Ardebast more from what he has to say about everything else under the sun than himself.
I have to admit, it’s pretty nifty that my character is one of the first entries you’ll find if you type “Ardebast” into a search engine.
