From the journal of Ardebast Raconteur:
My friend Cyran is a lapine, also known as a rabbit to the former tribe of man. He’s advancing in years, but then again, aren’t we all? As with all lapines, he’s not very tall. His coat is a pale gray, when it isn’t smudged with grease that is. The colour is natural and not due to his age. He can often be found with a tool in his paw and a pack on his back. His signature goggles, which he crafted himself, allow him to see in the dark.
Cyran is a tinkerer, that is, he is a fur who builds tinkers, though he also dabbles with other inventions. Tinkers are mechanical constructs that serve as pets and labourers for other furs. He learned his trade in the capital city of Sixtus, then moved back to his hometown of Bree to open a tinker shop. It is a testament to his hard work, and natural stubbornness that even with the citizens of Bree being indifferent to tinkers, Cyranmanages to keep his shop open.
I met Cyran back when he was still an apprentice in Sixtus. During our time together, we frequented many fine establishments in the refreshment industry. This lapine enjoys a good pint, I assure you. Over the years,Cyran has become somewhat of a homebody. He rarely ventures from the safety of Bree, though he’s always happy to hear stories from my travels across Pelaria when I pass through.
Cyran has an eye for the ladyfurs. In our younger days, he and I courted many a lass, but Cyran was always the perfect gentlefur. A kiss on the paw was enough to content him. To date he has never married and still lives alone in the apartment above his shop.
Cyran’s daily routine was disturbed the day a young fur entered his shop crying for her lost tinker, Springs. The girl’s tears moved Cyran so much, that he volunteered to find her cherished companion. That is how he found himself out in the middle of a heavy storm one cold night. (as told in “Tale of the Tinkerwood”)
Carja’s Notes:
Cyran was the first Age of Animus character created. He was created before there was even an Age ofAnimus to talk about. He first appears as the unnamed protagonist in the story, “Tale of the Tinkerwood”. He’s also the first character introduced in Animus Funnies.
Cyran in Animus Funnies
Cyran’s thing is that he always has a wrench in his paw…because he accidentally glued it there.
