Hey! It’s a bonus mash-up! No way! Yes way!
A while back, I did a whole bunch of wrestling mash-ups. I kept to wrestlers of the eighties and early nineties as that was my golden age of wrestling. That meant that I didn’t do one of my favorite wrestlers, Chris Jericho. Since I’m going to see him at Comic-Con, I decided to fix that.
It was between Todrick and Red Rich to play Jericho. Cyran and Big Oonch are too short for the pose I wanted to do to work and Barnaby’s body type is less than ideal. I went with Todrick because I wanted to be as colourful as possible. Even though this is an iconic Jericho pose, I had to go through a LOT of pictures on Yahoo! to find one where I could see the back of one of his jackets. With the benefit of hindsight, I’m glad this is the one I found because I think the red of his fur and the blue of the costume contrast each other nicely. I much prefer drawing Todrick with a smile on his face than the austere look I gave him as Vork.
