It’s that time again.
Hoo boy have we gotten a lot of snow lately! I spent at least four hours shoveling on Monday and Tuesday and I still had a little to do on Wednesday. And that was doing just the bare minimum to be able to be able to go from the back yard to the street. There’s a lot more snow left. I’m just glad I don’t have a car or I think I’d still be shoveling! 🙂
A quiet evening among friends. That’s what Saturday night was. The games were left to the side and we just talked for hours. This isn’t something I’m up for very often, but once in a while, it can be a nice thing. I did have the shakes from going through rolling-dice-withdrawal afterwards but it passed.
David couldn’t make it for Too Many Bones on Sunday, which turned out to be a blessing in disguise since I hadn’t gotten as much drawn as I would have liked during the week. I got caught up and fiddled around with my new phone (one needs to make sure one’s tunes are set up).
Speaking of the new phone and the music contained therein, today I was able to listen to music at my desk at work for the first time in years. The old phone had something stuck in the earphone jack that I never managed to get out so I couldn’t plug my earphones in. It felt weird to have the earphones in, but it was nice to be able to tune the rest of the world out for a spell. I’m reluctant to say this allowed me to concentrate because I found myself paying too much attention to the lyrics here and there, but I’ll get used to it.
That’s about it for me. Have a good seven and we’ll do this all again next Monday. Carja V.
