Here we have Todrick as Kickback, one of the Insecticons and one of the few Transformers I still own from my childhood. I really like the mix of colours.
That’s all for this week. We’re getting closer to the end of this theme. Three more to go. Maybe four?
Is Deema as a Dinobot a little too on the nose? I was going to do Grimlock, but I didn’t really like his design. Snarl isn’t my favorite either (that would be Slug–or whatever they’re calling the Triceratops Dinobot now). But I think Snarl’s design was kinda nifty so here we are.
That’s all for today. It’s back to the Decepticons next Wednesday!
You know how Big Oonch mash-ups are. I have to find a character that can cover his eyes. Well Jazz fit the bill pretty well, so here we go. I feel even stronger that even though he’s the most iconic, Prime is like the hardest to adapt. Jazz was a cinch really. I dig it.
That’s it for today. Next Wednesday we visit the Decepticon camp again.
Good time part to you! Welcome to the Wednesday Mash-up, so named because it is a mash-up of a pop-culture reference with one of the Age of Animus characters. It’s been a while since I posted one of these on a Wednesday since it’s mostly been Flashback Fridays where I revisit some older mash-ups I’ve done. I have one ready to go on the appropriate day (just finished shading), so here it is.
Zoë flies, so she’s Starscream. Makes sense right? Basically, if it has wings, Zoë gets first consideratiom. I am so happy with how this one turned out. I think the helmet adaptation is fun and the shoulders worked out way better than I would have thought. It’ll be tough topping this one for this theme, honestly.
That’s all for today! Come back to the site tomorrow for a new strip!
